General terms and conditions

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This is a translation of the Dutch general terms and conditions. In case of any difference, the Dutch version prevails.

These general terms and conditions apply to all quotes, orders and agreements between Parkmade (Chamber of Commerce number 42187409, VAT identification number NL005567328B53, established in 5388 GD Nistelrode) and the client, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1. Applicability

These terms apply to every quote and agreement between Parkmade and a client, insofar as the parties have not expressly deviated from them in writing. Any purchasing or other terms and conditions of the client are expressly rejected.

2. Quotes and formation of the agreement

All quotes from Parkmade are without obligation and valid for 30 days from the quote date, unless the quote states a different term. An agreement is only formed when the client confirms the quote in writing (including by email), or when Parkmade starts the work at the client's request.

3. Prices

All prices are in euros and exclude VAT, unless stated otherwise. Prices are based on the quantities, materials and printing method stated in the quote; changes to these may result in an adjusted price, which will be agreed with the client in advance.

4. Design, proof and approval

Before an order goes into production, the client receives a digital mock-up or proof for approval. Production only starts after the client's written approval of this design. Errors (for example in text, colour or logo) that are only discovered after this approval are at the client's expense, unless the error was caused by Parkmade and was not visible in the approved proof.

5. Delivery and lead time

Stated lead times are indicative and start after receipt of the design approval and, where applicable, the down payment. Exceeding a lead time does not entitle the client to compensation, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

6. Payment

Unless stated otherwise in the quote, the following payment arrangement applies: 50% of the quoted amount is invoiced in advance and is due upon order confirmation; production starts after receipt of this down payment. The remaining 50% is invoiced upon delivery and must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date. If this payment term is exceeded, the client is in default by operation of law and Parkmade is entitled to charge statutory (commercial) interest and reasonable collection costs.

7. Retention of title

All products delivered by Parkmade remain the property of Parkmade until the client has paid all amounts owed under the agreement in full.

8. Cancellation and changes

Because products are custom printed specifically for the client, a confirmed order cannot be cancelled free of charge once production has started. In the event of cancellation after order confirmation but before the start of production, the client owes the costs already incurred (including design and preparation costs); in the event of cancellation after the start of production, the full quoted price is due.

9. Liability

Parkmade's liability for damage arising from the performance of the agreement is limited to the amount charged for the order concerned. Parkmade is never liable for indirect damage, including consequential damage, loss of profit or reputational damage. This limitation does not apply in the event of intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of Parkmade.

10. Complaints

Complaints about a delivery must be reported in writing within 14 days of receipt via info@parkmade.nl, stating the quote number and a clear description of the complaint. After this period, the delivery is deemed to have been accepted.

11. Intellectual property

A logo or design supplied by the client remains the property of the client; Parkmade uses it solely for the performance of the agreement. Unless the client objects to this in writing in advance, Parkmade may show delivered work as an example of its work (for example on the website or in a portfolio).

12. Force majeure

Parkmade is not obliged to fulfil an obligation if it is prevented from doing so by force majeure, which in any case includes: delay or shortcoming on the part of a supplier of Parkmade, transport problems, and other circumstances beyond Parkmade's reasonable control.

13. Applicable law and disputes

All agreements with Parkmade are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are preferably resolved by mutual consultation; if the parties cannot reach agreement, the competent court in the district where Parkmade is established has exclusive jurisdiction.
