Privacy policy

This is a translation of the Dutch privacy policy. In case of any difference, the Dutch version prevails.

This privacy policy explains which personal data Parkmade collects through this website, why, and what your rights are.

1. Who we are

Parkmade is responsible for processing the personal data collected through this website. Questions about this privacy policy can be sent to info@parkmade.nl.

2. What data we collect

Through the contact form, the quote request and the sample box request on this website, you can share the following data with us:

• Name
• Company name (optional)
• Email address
• Phone number (optional), including the country code you choose
• The content of your message or, for a quote request: the products, quantities, colours, sizes and details you selected, plus any comments
• Only for a sample box request: your shipping address (street and house number, postcode, town or city and country), the products in your sample box and any comments
• Any logo or house style file you attach (maximum 4 MB; only with the contact form and the quote request)

An attached file is sent via our server to HubSpot and stored there as a private file: it is only visible to Parkmade staff logged in to HubSpot and is not shared publicly. We do not store the file on our own server.

To limit misuse of the forms, we use a hidden field that real visitors do not fill in and a limit on the number of requests per IP address. For this purpose, the IP address is briefly kept in the server's working memory. In addition, our hosting provider Vercel may count the number of requests per IP address to limit misuse. The IP address is not stored in HubSpot for this purpose.

3. What we use this data for

We use the data you provide to:

• contact you in response to your message or request;
• send you an email confirming that we have received your message or request;
• put together a suitable range and display proposal;
• process and follow up on your quote request;
• process your sample request: use your shipping address to send you sample products and to agree and handle the arrangements for shipping and returns with you.

The legal basis for this is the performance of (steps preparatory to) a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.

4. Who we share data with

We use HubSpot as our CRM system to manage contact requests, quote requests and sample requests. Data you enter in a form on this website is sent from our server to HubSpot and stored there as a contact (and, if you entered a company name, also as a company). Your request, with the products you chose and, for a sample request, your shipping address, is also recorded as a request (deal) with a note. For a sample request, we also store your address with your contact in HubSpot.

Our website is hosted by Vercel. Form requests therefore pass through Vercel's servers before they reach HubSpot.

After a successful request, we send you a confirmation by email. For this we use Resend, a service for sending email. Resend receives your email address, your first name and the summary of your request included in the confirmation (for a sample request also your shipping address), solely to send that one email. This is a confirmation of your request, not a marketing email. We do not share your data with other parties for marketing purposes.

5. How long we keep data

We keep your data for as long as necessary to answer your request and, in the case of a customer relationship, for as long as necessary for that relationship and the (legal) obligations arising from it. For a sample request, this also applies to your shipping address: we keep it for as long as necessary for shipping and returning the sample products and for following up your request. If you would like your data to be deleted sooner, please contact us at info@parkmade.nl.

6. Cookies and local storage

Necessary. We use local storage (localStorage) in your browser to remember products you have added to your wishlist or sample box, and to remember your cookie choice. This information stays in your own browser, is not automatically sent to our server, and is necessary for those features to work. We therefore do not ask for consent for this. This category is always on.

Analytics. Only if you give your consent do we use Google Analytics to measure how visitors use our website (for example which pages are visited and whether a request has been sent). Google Analytics places cookies for this. Without consent, Google Analytics is not loaded.

Chat. We also only load HubSpot's chat feature, at the bottom right of the website, after you give your consent. HubSpot may place cookies for this. If you enter something in the chat, that message is stored as a conversation in HubSpot so that we can answer it.

Viewing or changing your choice. On your first visit you choose via the cookie notice. We store that choice in your browser's local storage, under the key parkmade:cookie-consent:v1. You can view your choice at any time and change it per category (Analytics and chat) via Cookie settings here or at the bottom of every page in the footer. If you withdraw your consent, Analytics stops measuring immediately and we delete the related cookies; for the chat we reload the page once to do so. So you do not need to delete cookies in your browser yourself. Clearing your browser data does erase your stored choice, after which the cookie notice appears again on your next visit.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to its processing. To do so, please contact us at info@parkmade.nl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

8. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful use.

9. Changes

This privacy policy may be updated, for example when we add new functionality to the website. The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated.
