Reusable, recyclable and eco-friendly: what do the eco badges mean?
Several products in the range carry one or more eco badges: reusable, recyclable and eco-friendly. These badges say something about the properties of the material, so you can pass this on to your guests.
Reusable
A product with this badge is made to be used many times, instead of being thrown away after a single use. The big shopper, tote bag and string bag carry this badge.
Recyclable
A product with this badge is made of a material that can be processed into new raw material after use, instead of ending up as residual waste. The big shopper and tote bag carry this badge; the string bag (polyester) does not.
Eco-friendly
A product with this badge is made of a material with a lower environmental impact than the usual alternatives in that product group. This badge is also shown on the big shopper and tote bag.
Why not every product has a badge
Not every material qualifies for every badge: the string bag, for example, is reusable, but the polyester it is made of does not count as recyclable or eco-friendly. We only add a badge where it is factually correct, so the badges stay reliable on every product.
