2.5D relief or full colour print: the difference for keyrings, magnets and pins
Keyrings, magnets and pins are small, affordable checkout items, but they are made in different ways. The difference lies in the technique: 2.5D relief or full colour print.
2.5D relief: keyrings and magnets
Keyrings and magnets are made of soft PVC with 2.5D relief: the design gets a light, tactile relief shape instead of a completely flat print, in up to 5 colours. On the keyring, the back is printed separately with your park's logo.
Full colour print: pins
Pins are made of metal and printed with full colour print: a completely flat, sharp print in unlimited colours, without relief. This gives a different, more precise look than the soft PVC version.
Which technique suits your design?
Does your mascot or logo have a lot of shape and depth, for example an animal or a character? Then 2.5D relief shows it off well on a keyring or magnet. Is it a detailed or colourful logo that needs to stay flat? Then a pin with full colour print is the better choice.
